The satchel brief is my favorite Maxwell Scott (I have four) and I use it as my everyday bag. I'm an editor and carry a lot of books but those go in a tote; the size of the satchel is perfect for personal items, journals and one or two books I'm reading. It hugs the body comfortably -- it doesn't dangle or swing as I walk. This is due to the excellent proportions of the bag. It is also surprisingly roomy if I need it to be.
