Our embossing service will stamp the letters or numbers of your choice into your leather gift in Blind (no colour), Gold, Silver or Copper using a traditional hot foil press. It’s a good idea to choose an embossing foil that complements your leather.
Maxwell Scott leather accessories come in three luxurious shades; tan, chocolate and black.
You are welcome to choose any pair of leather and embossing colours, but some combinations work better than others. We recommend:
Chestnut Tan with Blind, Gold or Copper embossing.
Chocolate Brown with Blind, Gold or Copper embossing.
Night Black with Blind or Silver embossing.
We recommend these combinations in part due to the metal detailing on the products. For example, our Chocolate items usually come with gold fixtures. Tip #3: Plan your message
When selecting a personalised Father’s Day gift, you should add a message that will leave an immediate impact upon opening.
You can emboss your bespoke Maxwell Scott gift with up to 15 hot foil characters, so it’s important to choose a customisation package that makes every figure count.
For a smart look your dad can bring into the boardroom, customise the gift with your father’s initials. You can choose whether or not to add full stops between the initials or leave them in a continuous row.
If your parents are constantly mixing up their keys and wallets, a personalised message will help keep things in order. An embossing stamp such as ‘Dad’s Keys’ or ‘Dad’s Money’ will remind him of you every day before work.
You can also opt for an embossed date on your item. Remember the first time your dad took you to the football, or bowling, or for a special walk in the park? Cherish the memory forever by embossing the date on his new favourite accessory.
Tip #4: Choose where you’d like your message to be printed
With selected Maxwell Scott gifts you can choose exactly where you would like your message to be printed. On a wallet, you might print your message on the inside or outside of the item, or on a luggage bag you may choose to have the embossing on the luggage tag or body of the bag depending on your father’s preferences. If you would like a particular location you will need to get in touch with us directly – otherwise our in-house embossers will make the selection they feel works best.
