Mr David Beckham

This season, Mr Beckham proves that men’s style is currently all about evolution rather than revolution. As he made his way to the Kent & Curwen show last weekend, street style photographers snapped him in a quintessentially British ensemble. His lace-up leather boots, tweed flat cap and monk collar shirt certainly nodded back to Britain’s post-war era. Mr Beckham wouldn’t look out of place on the set of Peaky Blinders in this get-up. Teamed with a tailored Espom-style wool coat, his look is incredibly sleek and entirely inspired by history.

Mr David Gandy

Known for his smart tailoring and classic British aesthetic, Mr Gandy arrived at LFWM 2019 last weekend in a typically traditional ensemble. Despite his Mediterranean skin tone and statuesque build, his style epitomises that of an English gentleman. He rushed through the streets to a show on Sunday in a statement royal navy coat with a prominent peak lapel, undoubtedly inspired by the British military. Paired with a Prince of Wales check trouser in monochrome, it’s impossible to get much more quintessentially British than this get-up.

Mr Richard Biedul

Model Mr Beidul has become a regular at the LFWM shows and is well-known for his bold character, chiselled looks and unique style. Not shy of an impromptu street style shoot, he posed outside one of the shows last year in a camel hued outfit stemming back to the seventies. From the tan leather loafers to the houndstooth front pleat trousers, Biedul’s tonal look is classically tailored with an element of flamboyance. Symbolising the British gentleman’s sartorial mentality of less is more, this get-up is minimal and effortless but undoubtedly cool.
