Maxwell-Scott was established in 2002 by British entrepreneur William Forshaw. It began with a vision to bridge the gap between refined leather accessories and lifetime wear, and since that very day, we’ve stayed true to our roots and honoured the process. We define timeless style and refined artisanship through our collections of luxury leather bags and accessories, handcrafted in the heart of Italy using only the finest full-grain Italian leather. It’s this unique blend of British design and Italian craftsmanship that marries together to create our unmistakable aesthetic, from luxury luggage to traditional briefcases, our quality remains unmatched.
To this day, we’re still working alongside a family-run Atelier in Tuscany, where our long-time partner and passionate leather craftsman Orazio and his family practice generations of knowledge. We use the highest quality full-grain, vegetable-tanned Vachetta leather to craft our products using natural and age-old dying processes. Combining luxury materials, Italian craftsmanship and sustainable processes adds authentic value to everything we do at Maxwell-Scott.
