Introducing Ecologi…

We thought we’d let you in on a little secret – for the past few months, we’ve been slowly building our very own Maxwell-Scott forest. Today, we’re thrilled to officially announce the launch of our partnership with Ecologi, and we can’t wait to see our forest grow even more with you alongside us, every step of the way.

You may have already heard us talk about our commitment to sustainability (after all, it’s a big part of who we are at Maxwell-Scott), and this partnership allows us to take it one step further. From reduction in packaging, by-product leather sourcing and our dedication to providing products that will last a lifetime (see 25-year warranty), our Ecologi forest is yet another way Maxwell-Scott remains committed to sustainability. With this promise at the heart of everything we do, we’re ready to take our dedication to the next level. We understand that you, our discerning customer, showcase a combination of sophisticated taste, an eye for luxury and a set of refined values (just like us). Ecologi allows us to fund reforestation projects all over the world, and the trees planted will remove carbon from the atmosphere over their lifetime. Planting trees has many environmental benefits, from restoring wildlife habitats to creating employment for local families. There are so many brilliant projects that Maxwell-Scott is proud to now be a part of – if you’d like to learn more about some of the current projects underway (such as reforestation in the Madagascan rainforest to planting more trees in the UK), you can pay a visit to Ecologi’s website for more information. There’s an important commitment to full transparency, allowing you to learn just where our trees are being planted and who they are helping every step of the way.

Joining forces with Ecologi allows us to take meaningful steps towards a greener future, ensuring that every product we produce is aligned with our core values of sustainability and environmental responsibility. To kickstart the project, behind the scenes, we’ve been planting 20 trees every two weeks. Now that we’ve officially launched, it’s time for us to begin planting a tree for every single order. After all, we do rely on trees as part of our natural tanning and dying process at Maxwell-Scott. We like to think of it as replacing the chestnut trees that help us attain our gorgeous natural leather shades (although we can’t guarantee it will always be a chestnut tree!).

This collaboration is more than a partnership for us, it’s a promise to you and our global community that we are actively contributing towards a more sustainable world. From now on, with each purchase made, we promise to plant a tree in our forest in your honour.
