Characteristics:
• Durable • Authentic • Unique
This is our signature bread and butter leather. Vegetable-tanned and full grain, this iconic leather develops a unique and desirable patina over time. It is unfinished, allowing the grain to breathe and embrace life’s elements. It is naturally authentic in its look and subtle creases from the hide are kept rather than shaved away. This type of leather is undoubtedly the most characteristic – it’s the real thing. It is also incredibly durable and hard-wearing, offering an impressive lifespan that’ll defy any other leather type.
Sourcing:
In the early days, William spent many summers travelling through Italy on the search for the perfect leather. He visited many tanneries, seeking out different hides and leather types before finding his Classic leather. For him, it was vital that the hides were Western, as these are incredibly well kept and in peak condition for tanning. Vegetable-tanning is an old method but arguably the best in terms of the finish it produces. Italy’s region of Tuscany is world-renowned for its sustainable and natural vegetable-tanning technique. We solely use tanneries that are members of the Genuine Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather Consortium to ensure the highest quality and standard of production.
Some of our most iconic women’s accessories have been crafted in a soft nappa leather in bright hues like petrol and hot pink. This leather is formed from the top layer of the hide and boasts a supple texture.
Our key men’s and women’s business bags and accessories are crafted in an embossed croc-effect cowhide leather. Again, sourced from Italy, this textured leather is full grain and highly durable.

Steering away from the traditional and embracing the contemporary, our soft grain leather is also sourced in Italy and exudes a more casual aesthetic. Soft to the touch, the cowhide leather has a finished grain that is pristine to the eye.
