Inheriting a natural flair and passion for leather work from her ancestors, she recently told us that she always knew she would carry on the family tradition and work in the local leather factory. In her early twenties, she used to ride a red bike to the factory every morning…
Breathing in the sweet scent of honeysuckle, she would weave her way through the Tuscan cobbled streets. With the sun’s searing heat yet to touch the earth beneath her, the pleasant morning breeze used to tickle her shoulders as she pedaled along.
One beautiful day in June, her daily ride to the factory changed forever.
