    This briefcase is beautiful. The stitching is even an clean. The color is rich. Ofcourse the smell of leather is irresistable. I have owned many different briefcases of various size and color and material through the years. This one is a perfect size- large enough to hold the basic uniform sized folders, books, etc. that anyone conducting business would need to carry through the day, and yet it's not so big that you can't carry it comfortably. It's attractive, well made, and just the right size. It's a contemporary bag with the dignity of oldworld craftsmanship. Thank you for making such a fine case.

    This Alanzo briefcase was bought as a present for my Son after becoming a Doctor......... I wanted to mark the occasion with something special, this Briefcase has done just that.... It is by far the best leather Bag I have ever bought , the most beautiful leather, the most beautiful and practical design, it fits all his requirements perfectly, the workmanship is second to none, and the price is excellent.     As a business owner, wanted an attractive practical case for files and laptop for commute to my office and meetings, (and spoil myself a little!). Like the umbrella attachment, for which I have a shorter quality umbrella which fits nicely. Not only is the website great, with superb pictures and information but customer service is first rate too. Arrived within a few days of ordering online. Kept regularly up to date on delivery via text and email from delivery company. Really well packaged. If you appreciate bespoke shoes/clothing etc and the desire to own something for a lifetime, that with age actually improves over time, (definition of quality), then you won't be disappointed with this case. Exceptional quality, from the brass corners and general brass fittings to the quality of the full grain leather. If I were to make a minor criticism, I might ask that the internal pouch be made slightly larger to accommodate an iphone 11 plus, but to be honest I generally keep it in my jacket pocket anyway. Other than that, plenty of room for any size laptop, A4 files, papers and an assortment of bits and pieces. I love it. So well designed and very unique looking and nice to have a shoulder strap for the more casual look. A good realistic price for such a high quality item, without paying Mulberry and other 'designer' prices! Highly recommended.

    Can I send my gift directly to the recipient’s address?

    Yes - there are no receipts to remove as we are now paperless, ensuring your gifting experience remains special. If you’ve chosen our gift-wrapping service, we can also personalise the notecard for you. Please enter your personal message in the box on the product page when selecting gift wrap as an option and we will hand write your message with care.

    N.B. Please note that if payment is made with an American Express Card, the delivery can only be made to the billing address for the card. This is required of us by American Express.

    Can my loved one exchange their gift for another colour or style?

    We’re sure they’ll love it, however just to offer you that peace of mind, we gladly accept exchanges and returns within 60 days of receipt of goods. This excludes personalised items that cannot be returned.

    How soon can my order be delivered?

    Standard Delivery (3-5 Working Days) is free or Next Working Day Delivery is available at a small cost for UK orders. For US orders, Standard Delivery is free or Express Delivery is available at a small cost. For AUS orders, there is only the option of Express Delivery, which is free. Kindly note that personalised gifts will take 24-48 hours longer to process and be delivered, even if the Next Working Day or Express Delivery is selected. Personalised orders will be sent on the selected delivery service once the personalisation has been applied to the product.

    We ensure that all of our products are carefully wrapped and attentively presented as standard, with our Maxwell-Scott monogrammed tissue paper and logo sticker. To add an extra special touch, we offer a gift wrapping service to professionally wrap your gifts. This additional service can be applied to your order for £5.00. Smaller goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box wrapped in elegant silver paper, ribbon and a gift card. Larger goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box, finished with ribbon and a gift card.

    Positioning

    The placement of the lettering is unique to each product, our professional in-house embossing team uses their skill and experience to determine the very best placement according to the product. You’ll be able to find an example of the lettering positioning within the imagery on each product page.

    Additionally, if you have any further questions regarding the positioning of the letters or how many letters will fit on a specific product please contact us via the Contact Us page.

    Pricing

    The price for embossing is a £15 flat fee for up to 6 characters. If you require specialised personalisation with more than 6 characters or complex positioning, we can arrange this as a bespoke option with additional costs incurred.     Please note that our Croco leather cannot be embossed due to the textured finish of the leather.

    Ordering & Delivering

    Due to the bespoke nature of our premium in-house embossing process, please allow an additional 48h for personalised items, particularly during busy periods. Where possible, we will endeavour to send out your items within the first 24 hours. Please note that unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on items that have been personalised as they have been uniquely crafted to meet your specifications. If you’re unsure, we’re more than happy for you to purchase an item and return it to us to be embossed, once you are pleased with your purchase.     Finest Full-Grain Vachetta Leather
    Often imitated but never matched, our high-quality full-grain Vachetta leather is unrivalled due to three essential components:
    1. HIDES - we source only European hides reared in perfect conditions, ensuring tough and durable leather with a quality finish.
    2. TANNING PROCESS - we use a natural centuries-old technique of vegetable-tanning which is both organic and sustainable.

    The Alanzo

    Men's Leather Briefcase - 2 Section

    The Alanzo is a fine Italian leather men's briefcase handmade in Italy, using the best full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather. This practical men's leather briefcase is ideal for business people who need to carry plenty of business effects such as A4 documents, files and even a 17" laptop. This case features two main zipped compartments with detachable utility slots for pens, cards and a phone, and two external front pockets. The Alanzo also includes two removable straps to attach your umbrella or a rolled-up newspaper to the front of the case, as well as a further zipped pocket to the rear. The sturdy carry handle, as well as the detachable and adjustable shoulder strap, mean that the Alanzo is truly versatile and can either be carried in the hand or worn over the shoulder.
