    I purchased this coin holder in 2014 and it's been used almost every day and it looks better than new. I've found Maxwell Scott's leather goods just look better with usage. It is very well made as all of the Maxwell Scott items I have purchased (historically 6 items and last week 2 others bags, 1 for me and 1 for my wife) and today 3 other items. I have found the them all extremely well made. The leather quality is outstanding. I have only purchased them in Chestnut Tan and the colour exudes quality. And all my historical purchases have aged beautifully. Without a doubt I would recommend this Maxwell Scott item

    A coin purse works very well to look after loose change, open it up and shake to find the coins you need - no more rummaging in the bottom of pockets! Lovely leather, high quality design and construction, should last many years.

    The coin-purse appears to be well made. It remains to be seen how long it lasts. It is hoped that a coin-purse in the present price-category will give years of good service before requiring replacement. The service, in terms of speed of delivery and presentation in the packaging, was first-class.

    This maybe expensive but... So good and, with a 25 year guarantee. I've had several over the years ranging from £5 to £20+. The cheaper ones tended to last around 18 months before they started to split. The dearer up to 3 years.This one has quality written all over it but obviously only time will tell…

    Overall, the quality is excellent. I do think it's a bit overpriced but, even so, I do not think it is possible to find that kind of quality for less than $50. And these days, unfortunately, many known brands that used to offer nice products have degraded them and use cheap materials or flimsy construction. That's not the case with this one. It is very well made and the leather is truly superior. I searched a lot for a wallet of this type (and even returned one from another brand that I initially ordered). Basically, if you want a cheap wallet of this type to carry coins and you do not care about the leather, etc., you can find one for about $10. I had been using a cheap one like that for years. If you are looking for something really nice, this is the best option. I searched on Amazon and elsewhere for a nice one, costing between $15 and $100, and this was the only really good option. Even though I think it is a little overpriced, I do not regret getting it because I got the quality I wanted. I should add that the color of the wallet I received was a little darker than it appears on the photo. I think the leather on the photo has reflected too much of the flash light and that makes the color seem lighter. However, the actual wallet and the color look better than they do on the photo. I highly recommend it!
    5 I value my "luxury Brown purse".
    An expensive purchase but a quality product which comes with a 25 year guarantee. In a disposability culture I am, and have been resistant to, "cheap" for a very long time. With cars, shoes, suits, watches,screw drivers, dishwashers, etc it is very easy to acquire a "bargain" which turns out to be a short lived product due to poor quality eg, stitching, or material, or design. This principle also applies to many other products including cladding on apartment blocks. However, I am less inclined to pay $30 for a T shirt when one can be acquired for $5 less the designer label. My Maxwell Scott purse is an indulgence to myself for Father's Day and I like its feel, its design, its smell and the quality of its manufacture. Instead of dining out at a nice restaurant, I bought it. I'm sure it will outlast the memory of a night's dining out, and in that context, and to me, my little brown purse is great value. The service associated with my purchase was also first class.

    Can I send my gift directly to the recipient’s address?

    Yes - there are no receipts to remove as we are now paperless, ensuring your gifting experience remains special. If you’ve chosen our gift-wrapping service, we can also personalise the notecard for you. Please enter your personal message in the box on the product page when selecting gift wrap as an option and we will hand write your message with care.

    N.B. Please note that if payment is made with an American Express Card, the delivery can only be made to the billing address for the card. This is required of us by American Express.

    Can my loved one exchange their gift for another colour or style?

    We’re sure they’ll love it, however just to offer you that peace of mind, we gladly accept exchanges and returns within 60 days of receipt of goods. This excludes personalised items that cannot be returned.

    How soon can my order be delivered?

    Standard Delivery (3-5 Working Days) is free or Next Working Day Delivery is available at a small cost for UK orders. For US orders, Standard Delivery is free or Express Delivery is available at a small cost. For AUS orders, there is only the option of Express Delivery, which is free. Kindly note that personalised gifts will take 24-48 hours longer to process and be delivered, even if the Next Working Day or Express Delivery is selected. Personalised orders will be sent on the selected delivery service once the personalisation has been applied to the product.

    We pay attention to every detail, ensuring that all of our products are carefully wrapped and attentively presented as standard, with our Maxwell-Scott monogrammed tissue paper and emblem sticker. To add an extra special touch, we offer a gift wrapping service to professionally wrap your gifts with luxury, environmentally friendly materials. This additional service can be applied to your order for £12.00. Smaller goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box wrapped in bespoke matte-finish navy paper, ribbon and gift card. Larger goods will be showcased in a luxury presentation box, finished with ribbon and a gift card. Our premium quality gift wrap is made using 70% recycled materials, FSC certified paper and is fully biodegradable and compostable.

    Positioning

    The placement of the lettering is unique to each product, our professional in-house embossing team uses their skill and experience to determine the very best placement according to the product. You’ll be able to find an example of the lettering positioning within the imagery on each product page.

    Additionally, if you have any further questions regarding the positioning of the letters or how many letters will fit on a specific product please contact us via the Contact Us page.

    Pricing

    The price for embossing is a £15 flat fee for up to 6 characters. If you require specialised personalisation with more than 6 characters or complex positioning, we can arrange this as a bespoke option with additional costs incurred.     Please note that our Croco leather cannot be embossed due to the textured finish of the leather.

    Ordering & Delivering

    Due to the bespoke nature of our premium in-house embossing process, please allow an additional 48h for personalised items, particularly during busy periods. Where possible, we will endeavour to send out your items within the first 24 hours. Please note that unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on items that have been personalised as they have been uniquely crafted to meet your specifications. If you’re unsure, we’re more than happy for you to purchase an item and return it to us to be embossed, once you are pleased with your purchase.
